This qualification reflects the role of individuals who perform a range of tasks on vehicle bodies in the automotive retail, service and repair industry.

This course offering is designed for

Individuals in the automotive windscreen repair industry in WA and NSW who are seeking to attain a Motor Vehicle Repairer or Trade Certificate in the specialised repair class of "Glazing work".

This class of repair covers individuals who install, repair or remove windscreens or other glass in or from the bodies of motor vehicles.

The Cert ll Qualification has  a total of 13 units consisting of 5 core units plus 8 elective units.

This course is currently available in NSW via TAFE NSW for experienced industry members and school based traineeships click here to see enrolment details and availability.

In WA If you do not have any formal qualification as per above but have significant experience in the field in the class of repair "Glazing Work" (GLW) you can complete a third party skills assessment to obtain your Motor Vehicle Repairers Certificate.

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who remove, install, repair and manage glazing technical operations of cars and other vehicles in the automotive industry.

The Cert lll Qualification has  a total of 30 units consisting of 15 core units plus 15 elective units.
