To assist with the recovery from the impact of COVID-19, the Australian Government is providing support to all employers who engage a new Australian Apprentice.
The $1.2 billion Boosting Apprenticeship Commencements wage subsidy will support businesses and Group Training Organisations to take on new apprentices and trainees, to build a pipeline of skilled workers to support sustained economic recovery.
Any businesses that engages an Australian Apprentice on or after 5 October 2020 may be eligible for a subsidy of 50 per cent of wages paid to an apprentice between 5 October 2020 and 30 September 2021, to a maximum of $7,000 per quarter.

This course offering is designed for
Existing workers in the automotive windscreen repair industry who are seeking to attain a NSW Fair Trading licence in the specialised repair class of "Glazing work".
This class of repair covers individuals who install, repair or remove windscreens or other glass in or from the bodies of motor vehicles in NSW.
This course is government-subsidised, meaning you pay a portion of the full course fee to TAFE NSW and the NSW Government will pay the balance. However, you must meet certain eligibility criteria for this to apply.
Depending on your previous qualifications and experience, your fee may be less than the maximum fee quoted. Your actual fee and eligibility for concession/exemption will be calculated and confirmed during the enrolment process.

The Cert ll Qualification has a total of 13 units consisting of 5 core units plus 8 elective units.
AUR32220 CERT III in Automotive Glazing Technology
This qualification reflects the role of individuals who remove, install, repair and manage glazing technical operations of cars and other vehicles in the automotive industry.
The Cert lll Qualification has a total of 30 units consisting of 15 core units plus 15 elective units.
